The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Monday, laid a new foundation for the Police Mobile Force Squadron 61 in Kontagora, Niger State.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Twitter handle of Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG
The IGP was welcomed to the laying ceremony by the state’s Commissioner of Police.
The state Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, also attended the historic ceremony and used the opportunity to delivere a heart warming speech to the state’s residents.
He called for collaboration between residents and the police in order to eradicate crime in the state.
