Mr Kayode Adebayo, the Chief Executive Officer, Ckrowd Africa Technology and Solutions, says the company is connecting people of African descent, especially the youths in a technology space for content creation.

Adebayo told the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Ibadan that people of African descent all over the world were being connected to create information on education and entertainment in Africa.

Ckrowd Africa Technology is registered in Delaware U. S. and operates in Africa from Lagos.

He told African creators that the technology designed for were expected to generate from the multiple revenue opportunities that the platform was presenting and even earn foreign exchange.

According to him, the platforms operates like an arena, a huge venue that sits in the cloud, where digital live and on-demand video contents are generated by the platform on behalf of the content creators.

Adebayo said the platforms allowed content creators to market and sell their exclusive merchandise through the company’s e-commerce layer.

He explained that if content creators took advantage of the company’s technological space to promote their talents, no fewer than 200, 000 youths would be engaged in two years with each earning an average of 35, 000 dollars, estimated at N17 million annually.

“With Ckrowd being fully in operations, Nigeria as an economy has a potential of being economically impacted to the tune of about N4 billion annually.

“This can be achieved directly and indirectly through tourism and spending in other service businesses that our digital broadcast can inspire.

“The creators can pay a little fee to use the platform’s dedicated marketing engine to advertise their contents or products to a database that reaches more than 30 million Nigerians via WhatsApp, text messages and emails.
