Eintracht Frankfurt signs Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi
Eintracht Frankfurt has successfully finalized the signing of Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi from Czech Republic club Viktoria Plzen, sealing the deal for €9 million.
According to sport journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-year-old forward is set to undergo medical examinations in Germany on Thursday.
“Eintracht Frankfurt completed the deal for Rafiu Durosinmi to join the club for €9m from Viktoria Plzen.
“Durosinmi arrives on Thursday as called by BILD — medical already booked,” he said on X.
This marks Frankfurt’s second acquisition in the winter transfer window, following the addition of Dutch international Donny van de Beek.
The Bundesliga club outpaced Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in securing Durosinmi’s services.
Durosinmi’s prolific performance at Plzen, where he scored nine goals and provided five assists in 19 league appearances this season, contributed to his attracting interest from top clubs.
The young striker’s arrival adds depth and firepower to Eintracht Frankfurt’s attacking lineup.
