BNXN apologises to Davido for ‘disrespectful’ tweet
Singer Daniel Benson, widely known as BNXN, has extended an apology following a scolding from fellow artist Dremo for what was perceived as disrespect towards Davido.
The incident unfolded on Thursday when BNXN threw a shade at Davido during a banter session with a fan of the DMW boss. This resulted in Davido deleting a tweet where he had teased a collaboration with BNXN.
Despite Davido’s response, BNXN defiantly declared that he would still release the song without Davido’s approval, asserting that he had written “everything” and suggesting that fans had blown his tweet “out of proportion.”
However, on Thursday night, BNXN publicly apologized after Dremo, a signee of Davido’s DMW label, scolded him for the perceived disrespect.
Dremo tweeted, “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you were doing.”
In response to Dremo’s tweet, BNXN humbly stated, “No yawa. I’m sorry.”
