Gospel singer Tope Alabi is celebrating a proud moment as her daughter, Deborah Oluwatunmise Alabi, graduated from Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State.
The graduation took place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, marking a special day for the Alabi family.
Tope Alabi, expressing her joy, shared her gratitude to God for her daughter’s success. She described how seeing her “little girl” all grown up and graduating with good grades filled her heart with happiness. “Thank you, Jesus, for blessing me with a brilliant and godly child,” she said.
In her message, Tope prayed for Deborah, saying, “May your paths be straightened for greatness, and may you find favor in all you do.” She also asked God to guide her daughter towards success and happiness, surrounded by love and support.
Covenant University, founded by Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), is known for its academic excellence.
This year’s convocation, titled “Release of Eagles for 2024,” saw 1,607 students graduate, with 339 of them earning First-Class degrees – the highest number in the university’s history.
