Six years after her divorce from former manager Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, Nigerian music sensation, Tiwa Savage, has revealed she is actively searching for a husband.

Speaking in a podcast interview that has gained traction online, the 45-year-old singer admitted she is still single and has not yet found the right partner.

“I’m still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have any [partner]. And I think it is because I’m asking for specific things. Maybe I need to narrow my spec down,” she said.

Savage, who has one child from her previous marriage, explained that her preferences may be making the search more difficult. She described her ideal man as young, wealthy, and free from any “baby mama drama.”

“I’m actually looking for someone who has a private plane, young; someone who doesn’t have baby mama drama because I can’t deal with that,” she said with a playful smile.

The singer, affectionately called the “African Bad Girl,” was previously married in 2013, but the union ended in 2018. Since then, she has remained single while focusing on her music career.

Despite her fame and success, Tiwa’s remarks reflect a humorous yet honest outlook on modern dating and the challenges of finding a compatible partner.
