The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajuddeen, and his deputy, Benjamin Kalu, have extended warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 72nd birthday.
In separate messages conveyed on Thursday, the Speaker and his deputy hailed Tinubu’s contributions to Nigerian politics and governance.
Speaker Tajuddeen, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, lauded Tinubu as “a grandmaster of progressive politics,” acknowledging his significant impact on shaping the political landscape of Nigeria.
Similarly, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, through his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, commended Tinubu for his pragmatic initiatives, which are gradually revitalizing the economy.
Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, described Tinubu as a visionary leader and urged Nigerians to rally behind him in addressing the country’s challenges. Senator Barau emphasized the need for national unity and called for prayers for the nation’s progress.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari also joined in extending greetings to Tinubu, praising his continuous efforts to tackle the country’s prevailing challenges. Buhari, through his spokesman Malam Garba Shehu, expressed prayers for Tinubu’s good health and longevity, recognizing his “excellent leadership.”
Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago hailed Tinubu’s exceptional leadership qualities, expressing confidence in his ability to lead Nigeria forward.
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, described Tinubu as a courageous and passionate leader committed to Nigeria’s progress and development.
Senator Danladi Sankara urged Nigerians to support the federal government’s initiatives aimed at stabilizing the nation’s economy.
