Tinubu mourns Ex-Anambra gov Chukwuemeka Ezeife

President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences to the Ezeife family, the people, and the government of Anambra State following the passing of Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON, the former governor of the state.

The announcement was made by Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement released on Friday.

Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, popularly known as Okwadike of Igbo-Ukwu, served as the governor of Anambra from 1992 to 1993 and passed away on Thursday at the age of 85.

In response to the news, President Tinubu praised the significant impact of the late Chief Ezeife on Nigeria’s political landscape and leadership.

He expressed deep sorrow at the loss, acknowledging the former federal permanent secretary’s role in shaping public discourse and governance in Nigeria, especially in laying the foundation for the progress of Anambra State.

While extending prayers for the repose of Chief Ezeife’s soul, President Tinubu urged his family and loved ones to find comfort in the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
