National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has launched a scathing criticism of President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of worsening hardship and insecurity across the country.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Baba-Ahmed claimed that Nigerians are experiencing severe economic and social difficulties under the current government.

“He has messed up this country. He has made life miserable, more insecure. Nigerians are desperately unhappy,” Baba-Ahmed said.

The PRP chairman maintained that the level of dissatisfaction among citizens is evident, adding that the President may not be receiving accurate information about conditions in the country.

“We know this for a fact. He knows it for a fact, unless they don’t tell him the truth, and they don’t tell him how the country is,” he stated.

Baba-Ahmed also reiterated his commitment to working towards the defeat of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections, insisting that opposition forces must unite to achieve a change in government.

According to him, the opposition must put aside personal interests and political rivalries in order to present a formidable challenge ahead of the next presidential election.

“We have to find a way to pool our resources together, pool our energies together, and decide whether we can shun selfishness,” he said.
