President Bola Tinubu has extended birthday greetings to Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, on December 13.
According to a press statement by the President’s aide, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu celebrated with the Minister and former Rivers State governor, expressing gratitude to God for blessing him with a life marked by purpose, service, and courage.
The President described Chief Wike as a bold and high-performing leader who overcomes challenges and consistently delivers results.
President Tinubu also highlighted the ongoing transformation in the FCT through infrastructural development, citing the Minister’s recent intervention that ended a 14-year delay in the construction of the Apo-Karshi road.
He commended Chief Wike for his resilience, proactive approach, and unwavering commitment to excellence in all his responsibilities.
The President expressed appreciation for the Minister’s continuous efforts in achieving tangible results and wished him a happy birthday, along with the strength to continue his impactful work in the FCT.
“Nyesom Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, an exceptional performer, developing infrastructure in the Federal capital as never seen before and proving that his moniker as ‘Mr Project’ is not limited to his home state of Rivers.
“I commend him for being one of the champions of our Renewed Hope Agenda, even though he belongs to another party and wish him well as he marks another year in his life journey.”
