President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos State on Sunday evening to partake in the Eid-El-Fitr celebrations.
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Tinubu was warmly received by the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, along with top officials from both the Federal and State governments.
This visit comes as a gesture of respect for the solemn occasion marking the end of Ramadan. Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, had previously announced that the President would observe this moment with prayers for Nigeria and spend time with family in his native Lagos State.
“The President will continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays,” Ngelale had affirmed.
