TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has opened up about his decision to convert from Islam to Christianity, citing traumatic experiences from his early years.
In a live session with fans, Peller reflected on his upbringing, explaining that he was enrolled in a Quranic school, locally known as Ile Kewu, where he endured harsh treatment.
He recalled how the physical punishment he received during his religious education deeply affected him and gradually pushed him away from Islam.
Peller stated that the experience left emotional scars and ultimately led him to explore a different spiritual path.
“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. I go to church. I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic School. That’s why I stopped going”, he declared.
