A TikTok influencer, her mother and three other women will stand trial for the death of two men in a road crash.
21-year-old Natasha Akhtar, Ansreen Bukhari, 45, and Mahek Bukhari, 22, are all accused of killing Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin.
The crash took place near Leicester on the A46, close to the Six Hills junction at 1.35 am on Friday.
A silver Skoda Fabia, a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon were all involved and were traveling at top speed at the time, police said.
Investigators said the Skoda left the carriageway and smashed through a central reservation.
The two men inside, both from Banbury, Oxfordshire, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Appearing at Leicester Crown Court today, the defendants were not required to enter any pleas to the charges during a short hearing in front of Judge Timothy Spencer QC.
The trio appeared together by video-link from HMP Peterborough and spoke only to confirm their names and that they understood the seriousness of the charge.
