A man, identified as Tope Ekundayo (a.k.a Eku), was reportedly beaten to a pulp by political thugs in Ekiti State for allegedly pulling down a campaign poster belonging to their candidate.
Ekundayo, who hails from Ilogbo Ekiti but based in Ifaki Ekiti, was brutalised while trying to stop the political thugs from removing the campaign posters of his candidate.
The thugs reportedly descended on him and beat him to stupor for insisting that his candidate’s posters remain on the wall.
The victim, who had been taken to the federal medical centre in Ido Ekiti for medical attention, is said to be lying critically ill at the hospital.
