Three members of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State have officially left the Peoples Democratic Party and joined the All Progressives Congress.
The lawmakers who announced their defection are Aliyu Abdullahi, representing Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituency; Abdulkareem Ahmed of Kaduna South Federal Constituency; and Sadiq Abdullahi, who represents Sabon Gari Federal Constituency.
Their notices of defection were read on the floor of the House during plenary on Tuesday by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.
The switch comes on the same day Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State also announced his defection to the APC, alongside several key political figures from the state.
