Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has bravely spoken out about a distressing incident where he alleges being assaulted by a group of about 40 unidentified individuals in Lagos.

Sharing the details on his Instagram story, Portable provided a harrowing account of the attack, revealing the extent of the injuries sustained.

“I don’t come back from the hospital. I have a lot of injuries. So, those people, because I help them now. They say they want to push me. They say they are too big. They want to push me from America. Now, if they push me, I will give my manager 2.5 million. As my manager gives me the money, last year, they gave me money. This year, the price is too high. I made a video for them. After they gave me 1 million again, I said, before I go to Ajah, I will give you 1 million. So, I gave him 1 million. I will give him a balance of 3.5 million,” Portable stated in a video.

Describing the attackers as “old” and unable to achieve success at 40, Portable narrated how they beat him and mentioned their intention to use him as a sign.

He emphasized his refusal to let them succeed and how they fled upon seeing the police.
