Two unidentified men were mercilessly beaten by some angry residents for disguising as officials of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, formerly the National Electric Power Authority.

According to multiple media reports, the men met their Waterloo after they attempted to enter an old woman’s house to rob her.

The men were caught with cable wires and a short gun inside a bag they carried during the failed operation.

A Facebook user identified as Prince Aderemi allegedly shared the photos which have since gone viral.

However, the location of the incident was not reported.
