The former spokesman of President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, yesterday, reportedly slumped at the premises of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) where he is being held in custody.
Fani-Kayode’s family in a reaction to the development raised alarm over fear for his life following his health status.
Fani-Kayode’s wife Precious Chikwendu took to her Twitter handle today to tell the world and Nigerians that her husband is truly sick and expressed fear over what might become of him without his medications.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement issued by the spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, has alleged that the arrest and continued detention of Fani-Kayode by the EFCC is because the agency wants him to die in detention.
Adeyeye said the re-arrest is the latest in a series of plans designed to further harass and intimidate opposition members and supporters using the security and intelligence apparatus of the country.
