THEY KEPT HIS CAR! Policemen allegedly kill innocent man in Delta, claimed his an armed robber [Photos]

A Human Rights Activist, Israel Joe has accused the police in Ekpan division, Effurun in Delta state of shooting and killing an innocent man simply identified as Christian.

The human rights activist who made the accusation in a post he shared on his Facebook page, said the victim was a member of a committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) Delta state branch.

He said the incident occurred at about 9:00 pm on June 18, 2018, at the front of Praise Centre Church, Jakpa Road Effurun.

Joe said the police in a bid to cover up their actions, quickly deposited the decease at Warri central morgue with an instruction to the mortuary attendants never to disclose their identity.

According to him, the Squad led by one sergeant Wilson at Ekpan went ahead to allege that the deceased was an armed robber who opened fire at them.

Joe said,

“The victim’s car, a black Toyota Solara is presently parked at the Ekpan Police station. I have never seen an armed robber robbing with his car and after he was killed the other escaped from a one-door vehicle.

“Many questions will arise from this heinous incident and we believe if the Delta Police command refuse us justice, we shall seek redress upward. With the last drop of my blood, I will defend this good friend of mine, the risk notwithstanding.”
