A 32-year-old man will face the full wrath of the law for allegedly raping a goat.
Daniel Ackon, a Ghanaian, was arrested by the Assin South District Police Command, after a complaint by the owner of the goat.
Assin South District Police Commander, DSP Okyere Adam, said the complainant in the case told the police that he had tied the goat at his residence to feed before leaving for church.

However, when he returned he heard an unusual noise from where he had tied the animal. He approached the scene and met Ackon on top of the goat with his trousers pulled down.
DSP Okyere Adam said the goat’s owner raised an alarm, which prompted youths in the area to apprehend Ackon and, later, hand him over to the police.
He said the goat was seriously bleeding at the time it was brought to the police station as an exhibit.
