A Nigerian man on Sunday won a spicy food challenge in Changsha, Central China’s Hunan province.
The Nigerian, identified simply as CJ, defeated contestants from five other countries to emerge the winner.
China’s National Daily announced CJ’s feat on its Twitter handle saying:
Contestants from five countries took part in a spicy food challenge in Changsha, Central China’s Hunan province on Sunday. CJ from Nigeria won the game.

The competition drew funny reactions from Nigerians with many commenters saying CJ probably grew up eating spicy foods.
