Nigerians on Twitter have replied Senator Shehu Sani after he accused all arms of Government for “habitually” defying court orders.
In what can be described as an outburst, some Nigerians analysed and lambasted the senator representing Kaduna Central for his assertions.
This is coming after Shehu Sani said that Nigeria’s “democracy is on crutches” because all arms of the government including its parastatals fail to respect the constitution.
He wrote on his Twitter page,
“All arms of Government nowadays habitually defies court orders; The FG, NASS, Political parties, the Police, Security services, The Military & Governors; or they cherrypick the one to obey.
“Oath of office to respect the constitution has become a Quaker Oats. Democracy on crutches.”

The senate is paying N13m monthly,
The senate disobeys court orders on suspension.
The senate waste N13m hour to go and visit just one drama king in the hospital.
The senate refused to pass budget 2018 almost 180 days after it was submitted.
The Senate is our problem

Shehu Sani wants to play saint. The reason he frequently come online to tweet all the time is that he’s a fustrated man that is leaving APC

Maybe we are tired of his lies, it’s time he publicly reject his share of the monthly N13m.
Then we can take him seriously
You cannot be milking us and pretend to be serving us
He who comes to equity must come with clean hands

If Shehu Sani has integrity, he will resign from the Senate and continue hia Activism. But he can not. The juicy package they enjoy is not easy to leave.
— Kosoko Deen (@kosoko_deen) May 14, 2018
First tell me who an Activist is! Does anyone initiate people into Activism??? One who is guilty of an offense should not accuse others of same. Shehu Sani is an Hypocrite just like any other member of the Senate. None has the interest of the people icluding Mr. Common Sense.

So what happened to the rule of law in Nigeria? This is why nobody takes us serious about pontifications on democracy. We are stuck to remaining unique in lawlessness and wantonness.

You’re right, but you ended up supporting the suspension of Senators knowing fully that the court has ruled against that; refer to Melaye’s at House of Representatives. Work it don’t talk it

The NASS especially @NGRSenate is the big culprit, who violated the constitution by suspending a member simply because he’s not in the good book of @bukolasaraki. The senate is a corrupt institution.

Pass d budget. U guys ar losing a lot of support bcos u’ve decided to use our nation’s budget as a bargaining chip for irrational things like d release of a criminal fugitive.
