THE RESULT WILL SOON BE ANNOUNCED! Lagos governorship primary stands, says APC chairman
The Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Tunde Balogun, says the party’s governorship primary held earlier today remains valid and the result will soon be announced.

Ebri at a press conference at Protea Hotel, Alausa, Ikeja said the primary could not have held because the guidelines for the conduct of the election were still being ironed out.

But Balogun insisted that the primary had already held and the results would soon be announced.
Addressing journalists at the party’s secretariat in Ogba, Balogun said,

“It was peaceful, it was fair, it was just and transparent. The election stands because it was conducted according to the constitution of our party. The results were recorded under INEC supervision.
“I am the APC chairman for Lagos and I can’t disenfranchise about 1.5 million people that took part in the exercise all over the state. It will be unfair, it will be unjust to do so.”
Asked when the results will be collated and announced, Balogun added,
