A mammoth crowd on Wednesday, gathered in the street of Ondo State to receive the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) anointed candidate for Saturday’s governorship election, Eyitayo Jegede.
The gathering was propelled following the victory of Jegede at the Appeal court in Abuja.
Recall that an Appeal court sitting in Abuja yesterday sacked Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP for Saturday’s gubernatorial poll.
The judge, Justice Saulawa ordered INEC to restore Jegede as the party’s true candidate. The judge
set aside a ruling of the Federal High Court by Justice Okon Abang which declared Ibrahim the candidate of the party.
The Appeal court also dismissed all the objections filed by Ibrahim and his loyalists.
