Nigerian music video director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Jesam, widely known as TG Omori, has drawn widespread reactions after expressing his disapproval of same-gender relationships.
In a viral post shared on his official X handle on November 14, 2025, Omori declared that “having same-gender sex is evil.”
The comment quickly triggered heated debate online, with social media users sharing divided views. While some agreed with his position, many strongly criticized him.
A number of commenters also threatened to boycott any music video directed by him, regardless of the artist involved, as a way to express their dissatisfaction.
An exchange between TG Omori and a user who vowed to boycott his work further fueled the controversy, adding momentum to the ongoing online discourse.
Amid the backlash, the director reaffirmed his stance and responded sharply to critics. He insisted he would continue speaking what he described as scriptural truths.
“Better block me in advance. From Monday morning, I’ll start reminding you all the uncomfortable truths everyone needs to hear according to scripture one after the other. Get some waffles and soy milk,” he wrote.
He followed with another post, stating, “They are thoughts you shouldn’t ponder on and some argument you should never give audience to and they are lustful thoughts and immoral pleasures. Your desires aren’t strong enough to overcome this spirits.”
