Nigerian singer Tems has bagged two award nominations at the Nickelodeon kids choice awards.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 9, 2022, in Santa Monica, United States.
The Mavin Records signee was nominated for both best African Star and Global Music Star awards.
The Global Music Star category sees the Nigerian compete against formidable powerhouses in the international music scene, the likes of BTS (South Korea), Adele (UK), Camilo (Colombia), Tones and I (Australia), Rosalía (Spain) and Olivia Rodrigo (US) have all been nominated in the category.
Tems was also nominated for the African Star award with Focalistic, Major League DJz, Makhadzi, and Pitso Mosimane.
