Some celebrities have reacted to a threat by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) to sanction Tekno for using some scantily clad video vixens in a moving truck in Lagos State.

His colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry took to their social media handles to express their two cents over the controversial music video titled “Agege.”

Earlier, NCAC’s Director-General, Mr Olusegun Runsewe, had warned that Tekno would be used as a scapegoat to teach “others” a lesson.

“No single person is bigger than Nigeria.

“We are going to use him as a scapegoat to send a strong signal that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle,” Runsewe said in part.

@brodashaggi said: The moment you realize that this Government is crazy. the better for you. A police man once assaulted me and Said “ You be celebrity abi, We go kill you and Government no go do anything” and tbh it is true. I have had the opportunity to go outta this country and I’ve seen reasons why NIGERIANS in diaspora will never wanna come back, there is nothing like “there’s no place like home” cos THERE IS NO HOME anywhere.?

Non! the people maltreating us aint even online to read our complaints, somebody calls for revolution or protest, everyone will form celeb with blue badge and insult he who calls for it that they have other motives but the moment we receive one bad one from government, keyboard warriors will surface as usual, finally sha, na we dey do awasefs.

@nedu_wazobiafm: “There was a country”…..
If you think we have one, sorry. A DIY( do it yourself) country where you practically have to provide everything for yourself..
1. We provide power ourselves
2. We provide security ourselves
3. Water
4. Health care
5. Transport system
6. Education
Etc… The list goes on.
