Teenage girl stabs neighbour to death over boyfriend in Kano
Kano Police command says a 28-year-old lady, Bahijja Abubakar, has been stabbed to death during a fight with a jealous rival over boyfriend.
The incident which took place at Shekar Maidaki Quarters in the Kumbotso Local Government area of Kano State attracted a huge crowd.
Abubakar was stabbed at the back of her neck and left in a pool of her own blood by a neighbour, 17-year-old Aishatu Kabiru, of the same address.
A resident said that the two women were at loggerhead over alleged sharing of one boyfriend, Daily Post reports.
Police spokesperson for Kano command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident.
