Taylor Swift is returning to the CMA Awards for the first time in 10 years after confirming she will attend this year’s ceremony in Nashville.
According to PEOPLE, the singer announced the decision through her Instagram Stories after receiving a nomination for Single of the Year.
“LOOKS LIKE I HAVEN’T YEE’D MY LAST HAW,” Swift wrote while confirming she would be at the November 18 ceremony.

The appearance will mark her first time at the awards since 2016, when she presented Garth Brooks with the Entertainer of the Year prize.
Swift lands fresh CMA nomination
Swift earned her latest nomination for “I Knew It, I Knew You,” an original song written for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
The track was produced by longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and recently reached No. 1 on US country radio.
It became Swift’s first country radio chart-topper in 13 years.
The singer has previously won 12 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year in 2009 and 2011.
A victory in November would take her career total to 13 CMA trophies.
Country music reunion
Swift began her career as a country artiste before gradually moving into pop and other musical styles.
Her return to the ceremony therefore marks a significant reunion with the awards platform that played an important role during her early career.
The 60th CMA Awards will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, with Lainey Wilson serving as host.
