Talk about money I spend, not money I make – Genevieve Nnaji

Nollywood sweetheart, Genevieve Nnaji says she wants the public to focus on the money she spends and not the money she makes.

The 41-year-old who has starred in more than 100 films in her over 15 years in the entertainment industry in a recent interview also disclosed that she is scared of having a failed marriage.

She is quoted as saying:

“If I get married, I really want to stay married, and staying married is not an easy thing. It means you are completely in tune with your partner. It means you have found your soul mate and will have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn how to forgive.”

Genevieve who has never been married gave birth to her daughter, Theodora Chimebuka Nnaji when she was still in secondary school, at the age of 17.

Genevieve’s daughter Theodora, 24, is now married to her Heartthrob, Prince Chigozie Ikediwa.

When the actress was asked about her take on marrying a man who she’s richer than, Genevieve responded thus:

“How much money do I have? I’m not even that rich. I pay tax, I pay rents, I run an office, I have staff. So, talk about the money I spend, not the money I make.”
