Gold Statue is the adventure of two young fresh graduates (Wale -Gabriel Afolayan and Chike – Kunle Remi) who decide to spend their NYSC year in prison to retrieve an ancestral gold that has been buried in a cave centuries ago.
The history of the pure GOLD STATUE is popular in the world of archaeology. Its modern-day value is put at $500 million U.S. Dollars.
Good boys from good homes, their parents can’t comprehend how their wards got into prison. They are busy making desperate efforts to get them freed.
The boys choose to remain in jail as underground gold merchants around the world are routing for the success of their secret mission.
Its an adventure like no other, as these boys disregard the historical school of thought that says the GOLD STATUE may be just a myth!
