Reality TV star Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, is preparing to make history with a Guinness World Record attempt for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours.
The record-breaking initiative will form part of her upcoming three-day beauty festival scheduled to take place from October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History in Lagos.
Tacha explained that the event goes beyond beauty, describing it as a dynamic convergence of culture, creativity, commerce, and national pride. According to her, the goal is to highlight Nigeria’s vibrant beauty industry and showcase its growing impact on the economy and global trends.
She wrote: “symply_tacha My Dear Nigerians!!! I’m putting together the BIGGEST 3 Days Beauty festival and A Guinness World Record attempt for the most numbers of makeovers in 24 hours!!!
“Between Oct 10th-12th, 2025 at John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History. This is more than just a beauty festival, it’s a powerful convergence of culture, creativity, commerce, and national pride.
“As we attempt to make history with the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers in 24 hours. we’re also spotlighting Nigeria’s booming beauty industry and its potential as a driver of economic growth and global influence.”
The festival will feature a range of activities including training sessions, empowerment workshops, business insights, exhibitions, and networking opportunities tailored for enthusiasts in makeup, fashion, skincare, wellness, and hair.
Encouraging participation from across the industry, Tacha added: “This is a 3 days round the clock experience for all beauty enthusiasts in makeup, fashion, skincare, wellness, hair and others as we explore through trainings, empowerment workshops, business hacks. exhibitions and networking.
