Super Falcons forward, Rinsola Babajide, has left Spanish women’s football club, UD Tenerife, after spending two seasons with the team.

The 26-year-old Nigerian international joined the club in 2023 from Real Betis, another club in Spain’s top women’s league, Liga F.

During her time at UD Tenerife, Babajide scored 13 goals and made 12 assists, helping the team in several matches with her attacking skills.

Her strong performance at the club earned her a place in the Super Falcons squad. She has since made five appearances for Nigeria’s senior women’s team, who are nine-time African champions.

Babajide also previously played for Liverpool before moving to Spain.

Her exit comes shortly after another Nigerian player, Monday Gift, also left UD Tenerife. Gift recently signed for American side, Washington Spirit.

As of now, Babajide has not announced her next club, but fans will be watching closely to see where her football journey continues.
