Nigeria’s senior women’s national football team, the Super Falcons, have arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja as part of official celebrations following their recent victory at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The team arrived at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Monday, transported in three white coaster buses.

Their visit comes on the heels of a dramatic and hard-fought win over the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in Saturday’s final match.

The Super Falcons overturned a 2-0 deficit from the first half to secure the title, a performance that has since drawn widespread acclaim across the country.

The visit to the Villa is one of several engagements organized to honour the team for their remarkable achievement, which has once again brought pride to Nigeria.

The team’s resilience, tactical discipline, and determination have been hailed by both sports fans and political leaders, who see the victory as a symbol of national unity and sporting excellence.
