Karma may be knocking on the door of Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo.

The Super Eagles striker is currently in the middle of a bribery scandal which may take him to jail for two years.

According to some Spanish media Ighalo, alongside 93 others have been accused of bribing their way to pass a driving test while playing his club football at Granada in the Spanish league.

According to provincial district attorney’s office, Ighalo and the other accused persons hired someone to write the tests on their behalf in 2012 and 2013.

Investigation further revealed that three syndicates of Íllora (Granada), Mengíbar (Jaén) and Ciudad Real who moved to Granada allegedly recruited students to help write exams for clients who wanted to pass the driving license exams, and were charged between 1,500 and 2,500 Euros.

Ighalo may have to appear in court if a trial is to be held and also risks a 2-year jail term and 3000 euros fine.

Ighalo now plays his club football in Watford in the English Premier League. That means he leaves in the UK. It is unclear how this will affect the ‘crime’ he allegedly committed in Spain.
