Super Eagles’ striker Emmanuel Emenike and his Fenerbahce teammates had a plane crash scare on Wednesday morning as their plane had to make an emergency landing on their way to Manchester ahead of their Europa League clash with Manchester United.
According to reports, the plane carrying the Fernebahce team diverted to the Budapest Airport in Hungary early Wednesday morning after a bird cracked the plane’s windshield shortly after take-off.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce disclosed the incident on its official Twitter handle, adding that ‘There is nothing alarming.’
