Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye on Thursday was awarded ‘the best goal’ of the Greek Super League (GSL) match day six.
The 27-year-old attacker, who plies his trade in Greece with Olympiacos, has been in an impressive form so far this early-season, scoring four goals in five matches.
Ideye continued his super form on October 2 as he scored the first goal in Olympiacos’ 3-0 defeat of AEK Athens.

His sixth minute opener powered the Legends past the visitors at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.
With this strike, the Nigerian international was on Thursday awarded the best goal of match day 6.
Ideye took to his Instagram page moments ago to celebrate the awards, writing, “I got awarded ‘the best goal’ of the Greek super league (GSL) match day 6 today. I am humbled and thank our entire team, fans and all who voted for me.”
Olympiacos currently sit in second position behind league leaders, Panathinaikos who lead with just a point.
