Super Eagles and Fulham right-back, Ola Aina, has been awarded the Premier League Goal of the Month award for November.
The 24-year-old Torino loanee scored a cracker for The Cottagers against West Bromwich Albion to help Scot Parker’s side win their first game since gaining promotion to the Premier League.
Aina beat the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Danny Ings, Jamie Vardy, Eberechi Eze, Solly March, Riyad Mahrez and Raphinha to the monthly award, becoming Fulham’s third
It’s the first time a Fulham player has won the award since André Schürrle against Burnley in January 2019.
“It was a good strike!” Aina said of his goal. “It came on to my left and I just felt comfortable to strike it as hard as I could.
“It was good for the team. It lifted our spirits and we’ll try to build on that.”
