Super Eagles left-back Jamilu Collins has officially exited Cardiff City following the club’s release of its retained list on Thursday, marking the end of his three-year tenure with the Championship side.
The 30-year-old defender was noticeably absent from the list, confirming his departure after a challenging 2024/25 season disrupted by injury.
Collins sustained a pre-season injury that sidelined him for most of the campaign, limiting his participation to just three league appearances for the Bluebirds.
The Nigerian international joined Cardiff City in May 2022 on a free transfer after leaving German club SC Paderborn.
During his spell in Wales, Collins made 44 appearances across all competitions, recording one goal and four assists.
