Two female suicide bombers invaded Kasunwa shanu cattle market in Maiduguri on Monday. One of the bombers was instantly killed in the explosion. In a statement to Reuters, police said the second woman was lynched by irate mob in the vicinity and eventually died. Security forces later detonated her device.
It was reported that one person died in from injuries sustained from the first blast.
