Strike: Be patient with us, ASUU begs Nigerians
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with it concerning the ongoing strike action.
The union said that the strike was meant to help entrench quality education in the education system.
This was disclosed by the ASUU President, Prof. Ogunyemi.
According to him, the homegrown UTAS is undergoing the final stage of integrity test.
The UTAS is proposed by the union as an alternative to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) which the government put forward.
