Stop slandering pastors on social media, Muoka admonishes Christians

The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has admonished Christians and ministers of God to desist from the trend of slandering and mocking pastors on social media which he said is making them objects of ridicule among unbelievers.

According to The Nation, Muoka made the plea in his sermon at the Church’s service on Sunday.

Muoka said no true believer should preach hatred in the church, among general overseers, or go to the social media to slander one another, thereby making unbelievers to mock them.

Ministers of God who preach hatred are merely helping Satan to destroy the church of God whom they profess to defend at all cost.

He also urged believers to always pray for servants of God all over the world, whom he described as “Generals in the Lord’s army.”

He specifically requested believers to pray for pastors like Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor W. F. Kumuyi of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Aloysius Ohanebo of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement (WCCRM), Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, and Pastor D. K. Olukoya of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries among many others.

“Pray for Adeboye, Kumuyi, Ohanebo, Olukoya, Oyedepo, etc, because they have all labored in the vineyard of God and their reward is in heaven at last. Pray that God should give His pastors sound health. Pray for them and their families. Let godly love not die in our generation,” he said.

He admonished his congregants not to join the trend by many ignorant believers who speak against other churches and pastors, saying such an attitude can never add any soul to the kingdom of God but would rather depopulate it.

Muoka added:

“Instead of making mockery of a particular church especially when they seem not to be following the principles of the Bible, we should pray for them.

“Speak evil of no man, because God is the Head of every church. Let us pray for them and leave the judgment for God because I Pastor Lazarus Muoka and my family love all the pastors in Nigeria, Africa and the whole world. I don’t know of you out there.”
