A Twitter user took to the platform to narrate how his younger sister who is a face model was rejected by a client for being an amputee.

Narrating the plight of his sister is @orangechild_, a molecular biologist who claims the client who first lied that ‘something coming up’ when his sister arrived the photoshoot facility, subsequently called her manager to rant about the modelling agency they contacted, sending in an amputee.

Narrating how his face model sister suffered discrimination for being an amputee, @orangechild_ wrote:

“So apparently my baby sis got rejected by a makeup artist ( client ) because apparently when booking a face model she didn’t know she was an amputee … got there and she lied to her that something came up

“Went someplace private to call her manager to rant about why the agency should send her an amputee.. like she was a plague. It’s so devastatingly sad that In this day and age people still see amputee as ‘not enough.”

However, as they say, every disappointment is a blessing, the amputee model has since gone viral on Twitter and has in fact drawn the attention of various modelling, fashion houses who want to work with her.

Twitter user, @abajimmy wrote, albeit prophetically that:
“Grace qualifies and erect the rejected. God is about to erect your kid sis to the world. Please don’t allow her stay in that stigma. She is in her refining process for the global spotlight.”
Some other Twitter users have reacted with many calling out the agency. See screenshots of some tweets below:
