Renowned gospel music singer, Steve Crown, has officially announced his engagement to his fiancée, Ruth Thomas, with a wedding date set for April 26, 2025.

The gospel artist shared the exciting news with a romantic video of his proposal on his Instagram page, where he expressed his joy and gratitude.

In his post, Steve Crown wrote, “Approved by God. We are now forever. Crowningruth2025. 26th APRIL 2025.”

The announcement has since sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow artists. Steve Crown’s music career has been thriving, with the release of hits such as “You Are Great,” “All The Glory,” and “Mighty God.” His soulful voice and uplifting lyrics have resonated with many, and his engagement has further fueled enthusiasm and well-wishes from his supporters.

Meanwhile, in other news, veteran Nollywood actor Olaiya Igwe has expressed regret over disappointing gospel singer Tope Alabi on her wedding day. In a recent interview with Baba Ibe TV, Igwe revealed that he had failed to keep a promise made to Alabi and her husband, Soji. He explained that the incident occurred several years ago when he had purchased a luxury car after the success of his film Ololade Mr Money.

According to Igwe, Alabi and her husband had visited him during their wedding preparations, asking to borrow his car for their official wedding ride. However, Igwe admitted that he ignored their calls and failed to follow through on the initial agreement. Despite apologizing for his actions, he still feels guilty whenever he recalls the incident.
