Nigerian singer, Spyro, has officially announced his engagement to his partner, Janet Atom.
The Only Fine Girl crooner shared the exciting news on Instagram on Friday, posting pictures from the proposal and showcasing Janet’s sparkling engagement ring.
Spyro revealed that he first met Janet in March 2024 at a Lagos club, describing the moment as a life-changing experience.
He called her “the answer to my prayers” and shared how the encounter had made him a happy man ever since.
“On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48am. I met the answer to my prayers @_callme_njure in a Lagos Club while at work, and from then till now, I have lived every single day a very happy man,” Spyro wrote on his Instagram.
He continued, expressing his gratitude and excitement for their future together: “Thank you for saying YES my sweet J, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Janet Atom is a makeup artist and the owner of Beatzby_Nj, a beauty business.
Spyro, born Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, rose to fame with his 2022 hit song Who Is Your Guy and has since released other popular tracks such as No Gree For Anybody, Billing, For You, and Funke. The singer has also collaborated with notable artists like Tiwa Savage and Simi.
Earlier in 2024, Spyro made headlines after revealing that he had embraced celibacy due to feeling troubled every time he engaged in fornication.
