Pape Sarr experienced the highs and lows in Tottenham’s year-end victory against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Following a recent defeat to Brighton, Sarr capitalized on a goal opportunity after Bournemouth’s goalkeeper Neto’s mistake.

Unfortunately, Sarr, in tears, left the game due to a suspected hamstring injury. The midfielder’s recovery is critical for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, starting on January 13.

Despite dominating much of the match, Bournemouth couldn’t equalize and suffered a 3-1 defeat with Son Heung-min and Richarlison securing the win for Tottenham.

Alex Scott’s late goal provided a consolation for Bournemouth, ending their seven-match unbeaten run.

Tottenham, scoring in 32 consecutive league matches for the first time since 1962, finished the year in fifth place, trailing leaders Liverpool and Aston Villa by three points.
