Portuguese giant, Benfica, handed 10-man Barcelona a 3-0 humiliation in the second UEFA Champions League group match on Wednesday night.
The Catalans have now suffered a second consecutive home defeat in the competition following a similar 3-0 humiliation at home to German giant, Bayern Munich, a fortnight ago.
Under fire boss, Ronald Koeman, watched his side fall behind early in the game when Nunez found the back of the net after just three minutes.
Barcelona failed to find a way back into the game and went into the break a goal down.
Things didn’t get any better in the second half either as the visitors were stung in the 69th minute through a Rafa Silva finish.
Nunez wrapped up the scoring to make it 3-0 ten minutes later.
Barcelona's woe was compounded moments later when Eric García received a red cars in the 87th minute as Koeman's men ended the game one man down.
