Transfer: Chelsea-bound Lukaku arrives London tonight
Agency Report
Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is set to arrive in London tonight to complete his transfer to Chelsea.
Lukaku is flying from Nice airport ahead of completing his £97.5m switch back to Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old underwent the first part of his medical in Milan after Chelsea agreed in principle a club-record deal to re-sign the striker.
The paperwork is now with club lawyers, and once that is formalised, Lukaku is expected to sign a five-year contract, worth £200,000 a week.
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger will weigh up all his options before making a decision on his future, Skysports reports.
The defender revealed yesterday talks over a new contract with Chelsea had begun. Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel sees Rudiger as part of his plans beyond this season.
Rudiger has entered the final year of his contract and has told Tuchel he is fully committed to the club this season.
The centre-back is 28 and feels the next deal he signs will be the most important of his career. Real Madrid and PSG are both keeping an eye on his situation.
As it stands, they know Rudiger can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January.
