Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick at Old Trafford on Saturday a Manchester United defeated Norwich, 3-2, to reignite their quest for a Champions League spot.
United came into the game, seventh on the log with six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham who slipped to a shock 1-0 defeat against Brighton earlier today.
Ronaldo fired United ahead after just seven minutes and doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, however, Kieran Dowell, halved the deficit before the break (45+1')
Ralf Ragnick's side would have themselves to blame for poor defending in the second half when Teemu Pukki slotted in the equaliser in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.
However, Ronaldo stole the show in the 76th-minute direct freekick to bag his second hattrick in his second United spell, sealing a 3-2 win for the Red Devils.
The Portuguese has now scored his 60th professional career hat-trick for club and country (50th at club level).
