Liverpool have qualified for the final of the FA Cup for the first time in a decade after defeating Manchester City 3-2 at Wembley on Saturday.

The Reds who last played in the competition's final in 2012 showed intent to break the jinx by slotting three goals past City in the first half.

Ibrahima Konate's header and a Sadio Mane brace gave Jurgen Klopp's side an advantage going into the break.

Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva netted for the Citizens but it was not enough to deny the Reds from entering their first FA Cup final in 10 years.

Speaking on Liverpool's first-half display, Klopp said, "The first half was one of the best we ever played. I loved every second of it. City knew before the game it could be difficult against us. We just wanted to go to the final and that's what happened."

The victory kept the Reds' charge for a quadruple this season alive with Liverpool still in contention for the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup, having already won the Carabao Cup against Chelsea.

Reacting, Klopp said, "I can't talk about the quadruple, we have so many games. It's all difficult but who cares tonight? We are over the moon."
